With Packlink you can send watches. However, given their fragility, you must pay special attention to their packaging.
Important
If your items include batteries, you must comply with the international regulations for lithium batteries.
Tips
Pay special attention to the external and internal packaging. If the original packaging arrives with damages, the watch may lose some of its value.
Items must be transported in packaging approved and accepted by the selected carrier. You will need a very resilient packaging to protect the item and immobilise it inside the box.
- Small watch: a rigid cardboard box can be used based on both weight and dimensions of the item.
- Medium or large watch: a wooden box made to the size of the item can be used.
- Bulky or heavy watches: should be shipped on a pallet.
The packaging must protect the products from shocks, falls and vibrations, so it must act as a shock absorber.
Handling instructions (handle with care, this side up, fragile, do not bend/fold, do not stack, etc.) do not guarantee any special treatment.
Items are handled by automatic machinery and must withstand a free fall of at least 80 cm.
Packaging materials
Please use the following materials while packing your items:
- Double corrugated cardboard boxes, based on both weight and dimensions of the item.
- Bubble wrap.

Coverage
In the event of damage, the Claims Department will only consider claims where the items have been transported with sufficient protective material. Any item that is transported without respecting our Packaging Guide will be excluded and ineligible for any compensation otherwise awarded.
Lastly, we remind you that the extra protection does not cover any watches loosening, as the goods are always subject to vibrations during transportation.
