Please note, there is no basic or standard compensation cover for your shipment. Therefore, the purchase of enhanced compensation cover (additional insurance) will be required to protect your parcel in the event of damage or loss.
Can I take out additional insurance for my shipment?
Of course you can!
<It’s very simple. Once you have chosen the transportation company that will process your shipment, the website will ask you to indicate its value during the first step of the contracting process. When you provide it, you will be asked if you want to cover the shipment for the amount indicated. If you confirm to do so, your shipment will travel with additional insurance in case of damage or loss. :)
Taking out additional insurance has a cost that varies depending on the amount to be insured, of which you will always be informed.
The maximum amount to insure your shipment will be €5000 in the case of new goods and up to €2500 in the case of Second-Hand Goods.
Before contracting your shipment, please don’t forget to review the List of Prohibited and Restricted Items and the Packaging Guide. Therefore, if you decide to send prohibited/restricted items, or send items without respecting the packaging guide, you must bear in mind that no insurance coverage will take care of the claim.
