Chronopost and Packlink PRO

Thanks to the integration between Packlink PRO and Chronopost you will be able to manage your business shipments at the rates you have agreed with the transport company.

This integration, which works via a monthly subscription, will offer you many advantages by offering the possibility to purchase shipments with the following Chronopost services: Chrono 13, Chrono 18, Chrono Classic, Chrono Express, Chrono Relais 13 and Chrono Relais Europe.

In this article, we explain how to subscribe and successfully connect your contract.

Important

To integrate your contract with Packlink PRO you must:

  • Be a Chronopost "Webservice" client. If you are a Chronopost "Online" client, you must request your sales representative to modify your contract.
  • Have a Chronotrace ID and Password. If you do not have these credentials, please contact Chronopost's Technical Department to get them.
  • Pay the Packlink PRO Subscription.

Activate your Subscription Plan

  1. Log in in your Packlink PRO account - France.
  2. In the left navigation menu, select Subscription Plan.
  3. Click Get started now.
  4. Make sure all your Invoicing details are correct and up to date.
    • To edit the data, click the edit.png Edit icon. Modify the information you consider appropriate. Then click Save. 
  5. Enter your debit/credit card details.
  6. Click Upgrade now.

You're all set! You have now subscribed successfully.

To start sending at your own rates, you need to connect your Chronopost contract in Packlink PRO. Here's how to do it.

How to connect your Chronopost contract to Packlink PRO

You will only be able to connect your Chronospost contract to Packlink PRO once you have paid your subscription, activated your plan and have your credentials.

Follow these steps to connect your contract:

  1. Log in in your Packlink PRO account - France.
  2. Click Settings in the top right hand corner of the screen.
  3. In the left navigation menu, select Carrier contracts.
  4. Click the Chronopost card.
  5. Enter the credentials provided by Chronopost: Chronotrace ID (Chronopost contract number) and your Password.
  6. Click on the blue Activate button at the bottom right of the screen.

Congratulations! You can now manage your shipments through Packlink PRO with your Chronopost rates.

How to set up the shipping cost of your Chronopost contract in your eCommerce

If you use an integrated platform to manage your shipments such as: Shopify, Magento, Wix, etc., you must add the shipping cost so that your customers can see the correct amount.

Follow the instructions below to make sure that your customers do not see €0.00 for the shipping cost:

  1. Access your e-commerce BackOffice.
  2. Select Packlink PRO in the list of applications.
  3. Go to the Carriers section and then select Chronopost.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Select Fixed prices in Price Policy..
    • When you select an option other than Fixed prices, you will need to create the Price Range or Weight Range and add the Amount you want to appear in your online shop.
  6. Click Save.

Additional information

  • Your shipments will be billed by Chronopost. So you will always see the label prices at 0,00 € on Packlink PRO.
  • When you create a new shipment, just below the carrier's logo, you will see  Your own contract.
  • You will only pay the price of the extra protection if you contract it.
  • Don't forget to download, print and stick the label on the outside of the parcel/envelope.
  • If you have purchased Packlink's extra protection and want to claim compensation for damage or loss, you must open the complaint through the Help and support section of your Packlink PRO account, by selecting the type of incident that fits your case.
  • Cancel your shipments directly from your Packlink PRO account.
