All shipments done with Packlink PRO include the standard coverage established in the transport contract applicable to each transit in the event of damage, loss or missing content, provided the documentation required to manage the claim is submitted.
Please find below the standard coverage limit, according to the transport contract:
- Domestic transport: 1/3 IPREM/Kilo.
- International transport by road: 8,33 SDR/Kilo.
- International transport by air: 17 SDR/Kilo.
If the goods are more than 60 days older than the date of collection/drop-off, the depreciation of the goods will be applied.
It’s possible to purchase extra protection of up to €5,000. Or up to £5,000 for customers where the shipment(s) originated from the UK.
